Primark

Primark Bits

Today I went to Primark and picked up a few bits and bobs. I got a lovely selection of earrings for £2.50, all of which I love, and four turquoise rings for £2.50. The frog socks below were only £1.50 for three and they are so cute! Hope you like my Primark buys. Just a quick post this evening before the Thursday fun starts.

Treats

Below is the new h&m spring collection featuring Georgia May Jagger.  I love these images, and the jeans and dress are gorgeous. H&M have some lovely pieces right now, a Chanel style jacket and bright floral dress have also caught my eye.

Wishlist

My Wednesday Wishlist

My Wishlist this week is a mix of pinks and creams. I picked a smock from Asos, an easy to wear piece in a paisley print. The pretty lace top with detail around the neck is from Topshop. I would wear this on an evening out, along with the simple gorgeous Gisele sandals and floral spike headband. Both are from Topshop and on my must buy list. The necklace from New Look I would typically wear day in and day out because I love buying new jewellery and wearing it as soon as I buy it. The Jessica nail polish is in a Blush, I have ordered it from Amazon and saw it in a recent Elle magazine. I am saving the best 'til last, a Vivienne Westwood bag, I would literally jump for joy if I owned this. I may save up and get one, a bag like this would be for life and would complete an outfit perfectly.
I really need to start saving! Any tips?

Spikes you like!

I bought a necklace from Topshop today, I have been looking for a small simple spike necklace for awhile.  Plus I got 10% off with my boyfriend's student card. So far they have not asked to look at it, I simply just flash it quickly (Lucky me).  I got the bracelets from H&M. At the moment they have some fab and unique jewellery in store.

We had a few days of sunshine recently. As soon as the sun comes out everyone gets excited and it starts to feel like summer. I know we are not quite there yet, it was so cold out today.  But I made the most of the sun and took my Kimi (below) and his bro,Theo out for a walk along the beach. I always feel so lucky to live by the Gower, the beaches are quite something. The picture below is how Kimi spends his mornings, staring out the window and watching the cars and people pass.

How much is that doggy in the window?

Splash of ...

The summer is only a hop, skip and jump away, so it's time to add a little colour to our wardrobes. Some of you may already embrace colour like your best friend, and if you have not already, the time is now.  The neon trend will be a key look this Spring/Summer.

This trend will certainly influence fashion to be bold and playful, and no doubt there will be lots of fun pieces to chose from.  There are many ways to wear neon and there will be something that will suit your style. It can be worn from head to toe or you can add snippets of neon through jewellery or statement shoes. Even if it's just your nail colour you opt for, it is a chance to change your usual style and be creative with it.

Neons can be worn with other trends also, a floral print trouser or floral piece would be a clash that worked. It can be worn with neutral pieces and a splash of neon with white would look gorgeous.

Victoria Beckham, flawless as always

Just a few items following the Neon trend right now that I would like to get my hands on. I think a neon bag will be on my shopping list this month ready to take out in the sunshine.

Will you be wearing neon this summer?
Do you have any tips or creative outfits with a neon twist?

A little shopping

I went on a little spending spree this week (it has been awhile). I wanted to get some make up and bits and bobs to try out.
- I mentioned before I ran out of Mac transparent finishing powder so with my UniDAYS discount I went for a cheaper product, POP No Show No Shine Powder. The powder comes in a pink compact with a flower design on the front. I love cute products, so was instantly drawn to this. I will be ordering the new Mac Archie's Girls eye shadows for this exact reason, you can order it now --- > Selfridges

- So I do not have much luck with foundations, and the Liz Earle foundation I ordered was a little too dark for me.  I should know better to try and guess what colour will match. So when I was in Boots on my spending spree, I picked up Match Perfection foundation by Rimmel. I don't often buy make up from Rimmel but after hearing good things I thought I would have a look.  I never know if a foundation will look right until I get home and I am happy to say the colour was a great match! So this is my new everyday foundation now.  I want to find one that has fuller colour for special occasions. Any recommendations? I know Estee Lauder Double wear foundation is a popular choice, let's hope I pick the right colour!

- Picture above/bottom : Rita Ora's Radioactive tour at Cardiff. Rita Ora was incredible!

I wasn't going home without looking at the Soap and Glory range, and again the packaging and branding is one of my favourites. This is the first time I have tried the Thermal Scrub and Peaches and Clean. I only have good things to say about them. The scrub is lovely and warm when you put it on, and the warmness fades as you scrub.  It left my skin feeling very fresh and oh so clean! The deep cleansing milk is ideal for me because it removes make up and cleanses without being harsh to your skin. It smells lovely too! I've only used it twice so far so will review this in a few week, hopefully with more positive things to say!

Pictures from top left clockwise:

- The little trouble maker, Kimi. My 8 month old beagle is so cute, he looks a little worried in that picture though. Kimi loves stealing things and biting things. My Topshop pink ballet pumps are ruined thanks to Kimi but you can't be mad at him because he's so adorable!

- Perfume! Perfume! So after one or two not so fun shifts at work, I decided to spoil myself.  It was 10% off in Debenhams on all perfumes. I picked up Lola by Marc Jacobs, LLYMLRS always looks so gorgeous, so I thought her taste in perfume must be gorgeous too! (I find it hard to smell perfumes when surrounded by them and you are trying more than two or three). I wore this today and it's lovely.  I also bought a small  Vera Wang Princess because I had run out.  I am so pleased with my two perfumes, I adore perfume bottles too so these looks perfect on my shelf.

- Snowflake, Models Own. This is part of the Wonderland set, I have not worn it yet but will post a pic when I do.

- Benefit Products from ASOS. I usually use hoola as a blush, but thought I would try dandelion for a change. It's a very soft pretty pink and subtle when applied.

River Island cute cross earrings

Hope you enjoyed my pictures of my successful shopping trip.  I do feel very lucky when buying new things.  Anyone else been shopping? :)

Star Style

Get the look ...

Following on from the post below, I have chosen a few items that will help you look stunning like Anne Hathaway did on the red carpet.  She wore a black gown with studded detail by Burberry.
So I picked a studded bustier from ASOS that would look great with a black maxi skirt from River Island.  River Island do great maxi skirts, I bought two last summer. The overall look would definitely reflect the effortless chic that Hathaway exuded.

The theme continues with a studded clutch, bracelet and belt, each worn separately would give an outfit a edgy look. Other items featured can be found by clicking the link above.

So to complete the look and to be red carpet ready, a red lipstick would be ideal.  Kate Moss has a wonderful range and don't be scared of the colour because there is a shade for you.  It will look gorgeous against your black studded ensemble.
(Remember to exfoliate your lips before and use a lip brush for a sleek finish).
When it comes to hair I tend to shy away from the heavier products. I recently read about Bumble and bumble BB Shine on finishing spray.  It tames flyaway hair and conditions while giving you hair that lustrous look. I think this would be a great product for the summer. It will give your hair a healthy shine and a glam finish.

I hope this has inspired you to create a similar look.  Check out the links above for all items.

Simply studding! ...(oh dear)

Baftas

So Anne Hathaway has won a BAFTA for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, but for me she wins best dressed also. I think it's a flawless modern look and she just looks so confident in this dress. Can't wait to see what she wears at the Oscars! So this will be my inspiration for Wednesday's Wishlist, I will try and replicate this style from head to toe.

Mac goodies

Can't wait to buy this cute collection by MAC in march. Adorable!

I am very excited to get my hands on this, and to read the reviews! It will be a great addition to your make up bag that's for sure, cute is the word!

Who eles is looking forward to this range?
